Mollye Asher is an award winning director and producer. Her producing projects are distinguished by strong stories with distinctive voices and unique perspectives.  She is currently producing two feature films, AFTER THE STORM (Winner of Best Screenplay, 2011 Urbanworld) and co-producing with Josh Hetzler, KIN, for Student Academy Award winner, Kim Spurlock.  She is in post-production on FAITH, LOVE and WHISKEY which will premiere at the 2012 Slamdance Film Festival. Her most recent producing projects have been awarded the Wasserman/ King Award, Warner Bros. Entertainment Film Award, Fotokem Grant and the Roger King Finishing Award.

Mollye’s work as a director is marked by a bold, visual style and an elegant direction of bodies in motion. Most recently, THE AERIALIST, her spec commercial for Adidas was awarded Best Commercial at the 2011 BeFilm Underground Film Festival and 2011 Burbank International Film Festival. It was also a 2010 NY Student ADDY award winner and was shortlisted for the 2010 AICP Awards. In March 2011, her pre-thesis film, SLIM AND LENA, aired on NBC LA as part of the new Action on Film television series. Mollye is currently a thesis student at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts Graduate film program and writing her first feature, THE FALL.
