A former dancer, singer, and actor, Mollye began producing when she recognized her desire to be more actively involved in the work she was a part of. She is co-founder of Broken Robot Films and is currently an MFA Candidate in Film at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Since beginning her graduate studies in 2007, Mollye has produced 8 short films many of which are quickly garnering international recognition at films festivals and screening worldwide. She is also an award-winning writer/ director and and has recently completed her Pre-Thesis film, “Slim and Lena,” a modern film noir. Mollye strives; no matter what medium or role she takes, to strengthen the voice of women in unique, innovative and thought provoking ways.
